Avoid Excessive Spices and Heat: Minimize spicy, sour, overly salty, and acidic foods

- Avoid incompatible food combinations: such as mixing milk and fish, or combining hot and cold foods within a single meal.

Healthy habits
- Ensure 6–8 hours of good night sleep to relieve eye strain
- Wear sunglasses while going out under the hot sun to prevent exposure to heavy sun.
- For every 20 minutes staring at a screen, look at an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
- Instilling small doses of medicated oil (like Anu Tailam) into the nostrils regularly strengthens the eyes and improves vision, as the nasal passages are linked to eye health
- Frequent foot massage with oil or washing the feet is recommended, as the feet are connected to the eye via nerve endings.
- Practices palming
- Ayurveda encourages consulting with qualified experts to personalize diet for optimal eye health, as individual requirements may vary. Especially, keeping Pitta and Kapha in check—through awareness of one’s unique constitutional needs.
