On June 5th, 2026, Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Centre P Ltd observed World Environment Day with a series of green initiatives, reinforcing the deep, inseparable bond between Ayurveda and nature. As an institution rooted in traditional healing, preserving biodiversity and protecting our natural ecosystem remains central to our core philosophy.

To mark the occasion, a widespread tree-planting drive was carried out across the campus, with staff, physicians, and management coming together to plant numerous tree saplings.

Sreedhareeyam joined hands with the Ayurveda Medical Association of India (AMAI) Koothattukulam unit for a special planting drive. Together, members and volunteers planted a variety of medicinal saplings in the herbal garden located near the KSRTC Bus Stand in Koothattukulam, which was inaugurated by Sri Reji John, Hon Chairman, Koothattukulam Municipal Council.
