Sreedhareeyam Charitable Trust

Nellikkat Mana has a very long tradition in charity and helping the needy. This tradition has been followed by out forefathers. Even now, at Nellikkat Mana, we follow their footsteps faithfully.

We strive to maintain and cultivate the hospital into a shrine of hope at Sreedhareeyam, for the large number of

patients who seeks cure from their ailments. Fortunately, due to our long history of successes, we have an astounding number of patients coming in daily from the length and breadth of the country, seeking cure.

We have earmarked all Fridays to attend to the needs and support such financially backward patients. On every consultation day we attend to over 100 such patients. Sreedhareeyam provides free overall check up and do the entire diagnosis absolutely free of cost. This is followed by further treatments is the case so requires. In such cases right from the accommodation to medicine and food every need of the patient is taken care of by the hospital.

And then cures achieved by the hospital are continuingly motivating a large number of patients and others benevolent individuals to offer donations to those who are unable to seek help due to financial drawbacks.

Nelliakkattu Bhagavathi Devaswom Board was formally formed in the year 1999, in order to draw a channel for these interchanges to facilitate a clean and truthful utilization of the funds and at the same time uphold the tradition of Nellikkat Mana.

The trust was established with Dr. N P P Namboothiri as its Chairman. Dr. N P P Namboothiri, a renowned eye physician who is also a member of the present generation of the Mana has been a towering pillar in conceptualising this dream.
