A history of Social Responsibility
Nellikattu Mana has a very long tradition in charity and helping the needy. This tradition has already been followed by our fore fathers, and even now, at Nellikkatu Mana, we follow their footsteps faithfully.
We have earmarked all Fridays to the needs and support of financially backward patients .We attended to over 100 such patients on every consultation day. Sreedhareeyam provides a free overall check up and does the entire diagnosis absolutely free of cost, followed by further treatments required. In such cases, all the patient's needs, from the accommodation to medicine and food, are taken care of by the hospital
The extraordinary numbers of the people cures by t hospital are continuously motivating many patients and other magnanimous benefactors to offer donations to those who are unable to seek help due to financial drawbacks. In 1999, the Nellikkattu Bhagavathy Devaswom board was formed to create a channel for these interchanges, facilitating a well-directed and honest allocation of the funds and at the same time upholding the tradition of Nellikkattu Mana.
